Jamie started playing the piano at the age of 13. He studied classical piano formally on and off for a few years. His early influences included Bon Jovi, Journey, Van Halen, Deep Purple, George Winston, and many more.
He followed the basic path of growing through garage bands and bar bands and constantly moving to better himself and his abilities. In the mid 90's he joined a progressive rock band Eternity X.
This resulted in the writing and release of a CD through a German record company and a short European tour to follow. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the band split up and moved on to form a new progressive rock band Exhibition.
Exhibition moved on to record a CD released again through a German record company and played many local shows including some opening for national acts traveling through the area.
Once again circumstances led to the stop of this band playing any shows. Not wanting to sit back, Jamie went onward to look for the next venture. He looked into going back to his roots and play in a tribute band which helped influence him.
Along came Runaway and the pieces fell together perfectly. Jamie still writes, records and collaborates with local musicians on projects as well as putting together a solo piano release.
